Who can participate?

All students and young professionals with an interest in law, technology and hacking are welcome - prior knowledge of legal tech is absolutely not necessary!

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an intense weekend of energy, teamwork and creative problem solving. It starts with an introduction to our partners and the challenges they bring with them, after which you can form a team - if you don't already have one - and choose a challenge. Within 24 hours, you will develop innovative solutions that you will present at the end. The best ideas are awarded prizes and you often hack late into the night. An experience you won't soon forget!

How can I apply?

You can apply via LUMA. Simply fill out the questionnaire and register. You will find out whether you have been accepted at the latest 3 weeks before the event.

what is the max team size?

As of now, all teams must consist of at most 3 participants. This limit might be increased, but will not be decreased.

What challenges will we be working on?

The challenges will only be revealed on Saturday at the start of the hackathon to keep everything fair. You can find out who our partners are and what topics await you via our social media channels - follow us there for a sneak peek!

Do I need a team?

You can register either alone or as a team. No matter what you decide: There will be enough students on site to form successful teams!

What skills are required?

Previous experience in legal tech, programming or law is of course helpful. But every team also needs product development, design and sales for the final pitch - talents of all kinds are needed!

Will food and drinks be provided?

Of course! We'll provide catering, snacks and drinks to keep you energized for ideation and coding.

What prizes are there?

Our partners provide individual prizes for each challenge. Let us surprise you - it's worth it!

What networking opportunities are there?

Throughout the hackathon you can network with partners, mentors and other participants. Take the opportunity to make exciting contacts!

Do I need to prepare material in advance?

Preparation is not necessary, but feel free to sign up for our newsletter. We have some materials for you that might give you first insights into the legal tech market and the challenges!
